This beautiful holiday home in Nurmes, North Karelia, has 2 bedrooms, a fireplace, a spacious kitchen-living room, an entrance hall, a toilet and a large outdoor terrace.
The sauna building is connected to the cottage by a covered open porch. The sauna has a “ready-to-use” electric heater, shower room, toilet and sauna lounge with a double sofa bed. The holiday home also has an outdoor kitchen with a wood stove, open fireplace and dining set.
A boardwalk leads from the terrace to a sandy beach, where there is a boat and jetty. The beach slopes gently and is ideal for children. The yard has a swing and sandpit for children.

Hiking in the hills
Riutankolo is 30 m from the shore of Lake Pielinen. It takes its name from Riuttavaara, a sheer cliff about 200 m behind the cabin that rises 70 m above the lake. A trail to Riuttavaara starts close to the cabin. In autumn, you can find blueberries and lingonberries just nearby.
